Marielle Mervau is a UCSC student majoring in the Fine Arts with a minor in HAVC. When she isn't working at a local Natural Foods store as a secretly vegan "Cheese Specialist," she is scribbling poetry on moving buses and attempting to ignore latent car sickness. Mervau hopes to soon publish some poetry from a series entitled, "New Romantics," which are sensual poems written about boring people with boring careers. Mervau enjoys spending time alone being unproductive and reading articles about up-and-coming artists.
