Linda Wilshusen lives in Live Oak, an unincorporated urban community in Santa Cruz, California. She worked as a planner for over 35 years, serving as executive director of the Santa Cruz County Regional Transportation Commission from 1985-2005. She has a degree in anthropology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and especially enjoys continuing to learn about the evolution of our world with her grandson Dante. A happily-compulsive doer, she sits on the Santa Cruz City Water Commission representing non-City customers; serves on the Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History Board of Trustees; organizes the annual Live Oak History Walks program; & makes wine in the Santa Cruz Mountains with old and new friends.
